Locally-based investor Renaissance Realty Group sold two apartment complexes in Brooklyn to Empress Property group for $18.71 million, or about $183,000 per unit.

The properties included in the sale are a 39-unit complex at 984-994 Winthrop St. and a 50-unit complex at 4512-4524 Church Ave. In total, the portfolio includes 89 residential units, along with 13 retail units.
