A&E Real Estate Holdings Picks Up Queens Apt. Portfolio for $127.5 Million

Locally-based multifamily investor A&E Real Estate Holdings purchased a 428-unit apartment portfolio in Queens for $127.5 million, or about $275,000 per unit.

A&E acquired the three apartment complexes from a joint venture between Teaneck, NJ-based Treetop Development and a private investor, which originally acquired the portfolio in 2015, according to CoStar data.

Barberry Rose Management Co. (BRM) acquired a 47-unit apartment complex at 826 Crown St. in Brooklyn from a joint venture between East Coast Holdings and Sharp Management Corp. for $11.45 million, or about $244,000 per unit.
